Ash-Abhi wedding anniversary plan back on track

A few days back, we reported about how Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan would have to shoot for their movie Ravana on their wedding anniversary because director Mani Ratnam wanted to shoot some crucial scenes of the film in Kerala’s Chalakudy jungles from April 20 onwards.

However, earlier this week, Ratnam was admitted to Chennai’s Apollo Hospital due to difficulty in breathing and chest pain. This has put a question mark over the upcoming schedule of ‘Ravana’.


Needless to say, both Ash and Abhi have been very concerned about Ratnam’s health and they have been in constant touch with the director in the last few days. But now that the doctors have said that Ratnam’s health is in no serious danger and he needs time to recover, Ash and Abhi too want to take a small break. They have been going through hectic schedules in the last few months.

Reports say the couple wants to go on a brief holiday for their second wedding anniversary. They might go to Europe or the US.

Last year, they could not celebrate their wedding anniversary because the family was mourning Teji Bachchan’s death. This year, they may finally get to celebrate the completion of two years as husband and wife.
