Asin is hard to please!

The 23-year-old beauty from south was undaunted by Aamir Khan ’s perfectionist streak in Ghajini and claimed that she was no less a stickler for detail. Now, Asin is apparently looking for same kind of perfection while working on her next Bollywood project, London Dreams , co-starring Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan .

A couple of designers and stylists have been fired from their jobs because Asin was not pleased with their work.


Hairstylist and make-up man Manzoor Khan, who has worked in fashion industry and has also done make-up of actresses like Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone , has gone on the record and said that no matter what type of make-up he did on Asin, she was not pleased.

While Manzoor, now fired from ‘London Dreams’, accuses Asin of throwing starry tantrums, the film’s director Vipul Amrutlal Shah says it was Manzoor who failed to live up to their expectations, or to Asin’s expectation, to be precise.

Similarly, designer Niharika Khan had to reportedly quit the project because Asin wasn’t happy with the costumes she gave her.

According to a source, Asin is “not the kind of actress who would wear anything that her designer gives. She takes a lot of personal interest in her look.”

So Asin reportedly dismissed works of a good number of costume designers until Ashley Rebello came up with something that caught her fancy and therefore became her designer in the film.
