Bikini babes return with 'Kambakkth Ishq'!

Kareena Kapoor , who ushered in the size-zero trend with her skeletal figure, now slips into bikini again. Thankfully, she isn’t size-zero this time, nor does she look anorexic. Matching her footsteps is Amrita Arora , who claims to have “worked out like a beast” to lose the extra flab and get a perfect sylph figure for her bikini scenes in Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Kambakkth Ishq’, directed by Sabbir Khan.

With a star cast boasting of macho men like Akshay Kumar , Sylvester Stallone and Brandon Routh, ‘Kambakkth Ishq’ looks like a heady cocktail of bikinis and brawns. Add to the list the ‘Wild Things’ star Denise Richards and the fusion doesn’t get better than this.


To start with, all the ladies in the film have worn bikinis. The three ladies play supermodels and there are sequences aplenty where they strut their stuff in teeny-weeny swim-wears.

Kareena’s styling in the film was done by designer Aki Narula , who scoured the shops and showrooms in Paris, Milan and Rome to find trendy outfits for Bebo. He opted for dresses by Stella Macartney and other designers. However, the bikini that Kareena wears in the film is by Diane von Fustenberg.

Similarly, designer Shabina Khan did the styling for Denise Richards, while Ashley Rebello did Amrita Arora's dresses and bikini.

Amrita’s bikini act shaped out particularly well and the gal had no inhibitions doing it. To give her support, Shakeel Ladak (now her hubby but her boyfriend at the time of the shoot) was at Universal Studios in Los Angeles where the shoot was canned.

Most of ‘Kambakkth Ishq’ has been shot in LA and Italy. It has Akshay playing a stuntman in Hollywood. Stallone and Routh also have done some breathtaking stunts for the film.
