Buzz begins to build around 'Kambakkht Ishq'

The 3 mins long international trailer of the film starring Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor recently got released.

Since the movie has an international feel to it, Eros International, the production house behind the film, has came up with a 3-plus minute international trailer for ‘Kambakkht Ishq’. The movie is written and directed by debutant Sabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala .


According to sources, Sajid is also planning a special promotional track and that will be made on a humongous budget of Rs 2 crore. For that, a magnificent set at Film city in Mumbai is erected. Not only this, he has roped in the UK band RDB for the song. Sources further add that as a promotional gimmick prior to the movie’s release, Sajid is also planning a visit by Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone to India. And both Akshay Kumar and Stallone will promote the movie together.

‘Kambakkht Ishq’ is also turning to be a real temptation for many distributors. Reports convey that a Bihar distributor has already offered Rs 1 crore to be the official distributor of the film in that region. And another distributor who had stopped his business now wants to start it again as he believes that the movie is going to be a super hit at the box office.

According to Bollywood trade reports, the movie is touted to be the year’s biggest release. Even the opinion polls conducted on the internet have declared it the most anticipated film to watch out in 2009.
