Deepika Padukone outshines Katrina Kaif

Katrina was recently declared the most search celeb on Google India. Now, Yahoo! India has declared Deepika as the most searched celebrity. Also in the race were other actresses like Bipasha Basu and Kareena Kapoor .

Deepika, who is not very net-savvy, is joyous at the news and says it goes to show the love and loyalty of her fans who have stood by her ever since she made her debut in the superhit Om Shanti Om and followed it with a relatively less successful Bachna Ae Haseeno and the flop Chandni Chowk To China recently.


Incidentally, Deepika has been in the news not just for her work but also her personal life - her relationship with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and her equation with her ex-beau Nihar Pandya.

Deepika is now in the process of starting her own website where she will regularly post entries and also reply to questions from her fans.

The domain deepika-padukone.com is already taken by some other site so the actress is coming up with an appropriate name.
