Goldie Hawn praises Priyanka Chopra

On her visit to Mumbai as the guest of socialite Parmeshwar Godrej, Goldie Hawn got to attend the special screening of director Madhur Bhandarkar 's movie 'Fashion' which released last week.

Though the film is in Hindi, Goldie apparently liked the movie and was particularly all praise for Priyanka Chopra after the screening.


Goldie personally told Priyanka that her performance was "convincing" and that she (Priyanka) has the emotive range to play "innocent, bitchy and vulnerable with ease". The two actresses did not interact for long, but it was very heartening for Priyanka to hear the words of encouragement from a noted actress of Hollywood.

It must be said that Goldie's observation of Priyanka's performance is pretty spot on. Priyanka is innocent in the first hour of the film; she gets bitchy when she becomes a supermodel; and she is vulnerable when she falls from fame and makes a jittery comeback.

Priyanka is also glad that 'Fashion' has ended her jinx of flops at the box-office. The actress has seen four debacles this year - Love Story 2050 , Chamku , God Tussi Great Ho and Drona .

Now, she has got her fingers crossed for Dostana , which releases next week.
