Imran Khan returns the favour to Aamir

The young lad is not charging a penny for Aamir’s next home production Delhi Belly , in which Imran plays the lead role. The movie is currently on the floors.

Imran says his decision to do ‘Delhi Belly’ for free is a ‘thank you gesture’ to Aamir who launched him in the superhit Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na earlier this year. True it is that Aamir went a great extent to promote the film and make sure it is widely accepted by the audiences. Imran says no producer would do that for his actors what Aamir did for him.


Not just doing the film for free, Imran is not letting himself be treated as a star on the sets of ‘Delhi Belly’. He travels economy class with the film’s crew and expects no special comforts that others in the unit don’t have.

Working in ‘Delhi Belly’ is more like a homecoming for Imran after doing two films – Kidnap and Luck – with outside banners.
