Imran still a dear friend: Genelia

We all know that Imran has a steady girlfriend. Though none linked him with Genelia romantically, there has been a buzz that the two friends have fallen apart after a misunderstanding. But Genelia scotches the gossip.

"Imran is a dear friend, there is no misunderstanding between us and we are very good friends. Everything is absolutely fine. These are just rumours," Genelia is quoted as saying.


The young beauty who began her career downsouth is presently straddling the two industries with projects in both Bollywood and south.

"I love both as both are close to my heart. I started my career with Telugu films and I got recognition in Bollywood," she says.

However, Genelia does admit that the success of ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ has done wonders to her career.

Today, she is working with some top stars like John Abraham in Hook Ya Crook and Harman Baweja in It's My Life , which is the Hindi remake of her own Telugu hit Bommarillu .

Genelia has also signed an Abbas Mastan thriller.

Well, the pretty gal is having the best of both worlds.
