John Abraham dotes on Abhishek Bachchan

The duo is set to bring the house down with their gay act in this Friday’s release Dostana . Having known each other since school days, John says he is so friendly with Abhishek that he doesn’t see him as a co-star or a colleague.

“Abhishek is not a co-star or a colleague. He's a friend. I dote on him. I love him to death. We never compete. We complement each other in 'Dostana'. We share a great chemistry. Abhishek and I are a couple in the film,” John is quoted by a news agency.


This brotherly love is not one-sided. Abhishek, too, is incredibly fond of John. So much so that on a recent appearance on Karan Johar’s show, when Abhi was asked to propose John, the actor had no hesitation in getting down on his knees to pop the question to John. Not just that, Abhi even kissed John’s hand at the end of the proposal.

Produced by Karan Johar and directed by Tarun Mansukhani , ‘Dostana’ tells the story of two friends who pretend to be gays to be able to rent an apartment where a superhot girl ( Priyanka Chopra ) lives.

The film hits the theatres on November 14.
