John and Neil keeping their distance

The two actors have worked together in the upcoming movie New York . Coincidentally, the duo is presently working on their respective films set in prison. While John is shooting for director David Dhawan's Hook Ya Crook at Nitin Desai's studios in Karjat, Neil is shooting director Madhur Bhandarkar's film Jail on an adjacent set in the same studio.

While working at such close distance, the two stars have so far met only once and they have apparently made no effort to meet again.


Neil told a news agency: "To be honest I have hardly had the chance to meet John here, although we're shooting just a hop and skip away from each other. In all this time maybe we've met just once."

It is believed that the two actors are staying away to avoid any duplication in creativity since their films have similar setting and have them both playing prison birds.
