Kareena trumps Aishwarya on the power list

The Kapoor belle is the only woman featured in the top ten. Not just that, she’s also trumped the ethereal beauty Aishwarya Rai from the position of being the only female in the ten most powerful people of B-Town.

Overwhelmed and honoured with this new-gained position, Kareena says, “It's amazing that I'm in the power list although I've never applied much thought to the process of getting there.”


The lady finds it flattering as well as scary to be on the list. According to her, power entails a lot of responsibility. But she also admits, “Power equations in the entertainment industry change minute by minute”.

On replacing Aishwarya, the vivacious actress says, “I think Aishwarya has had a great innings. I think it's a great honour to be where she was in the power list”.

Kareena’s popularity has risen to inexplicable heights in the last one year. She had a hit movie Golmaal Returns to her name, won many awards, and was chosen the style Youth icon of India. This apart, Kareena is also the new-age endorsement queen and is the face of 10 products.

Right now, she is busy with the shooting of her films and the publicity of Kambakkht Ishq , her next mega-offering where she will be seen with Akshay Kumar and Hollywood biggies like Sylvester Stallone.
