Madhuri Dixit on comeback trail?

The latest buzz is that the Dhak Dhak queen has been approached by director Prakash Jha for his next venture, in which she is likely to play the love interest of the young and dashing Ranbir Kapoor .

After her failed comeback to Bollywood two years back with the flop Yashraj film Aaja Nachle , Madhuri had returned to the US, though she has been visiting Mumbai in between.


Prakash Jha, who directed Madhuri in the critically acclaimed women-centric political drama ‘Mrityudand’, is very keen to work with the lady again. According to the buzz, he is done with the script and has sent it to the actress in the US and she has liked the script.

The movie is believed to be a complex love story between a young boy and an older woman. This kind of man-woman relationship was explored well in the movie Dil Chahta Hai , where the young Akshaye Khanna fell in love with Dimple Kapadia , a woman much elder to him.

Jha is presently working on his political thriller Rajniti which boasts many actors like Ajay Devgan , Arjun Rampal , Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif .

As for Madhuri, the iconic female of Bollywood is celebrating her 42nd birthday tomorrow, that’s 15th May.
