Now, Saif Ali Khan sweats for 8-pack abs

Saif Ali Khan , who's been fit but has never been known for his brawns, is nowadays sweating it out in a gym that he's set up at his house in Bandra. The actor is intent on shedding all the extra fat from his body and at the same time developing muscles for his role of a detective agent in home production Agent Vinod .

The movie, to be directed by Imtiaz Ali , will have Saif pairing up with girlfriend Kareena Kapoor .


Saif has hired trainer Satyajit Chaurasia to guide him in developing muscles.

The actor starts his workout every morning. It begins with a 45-minute cardio warm-up followed by weight training and ends with body stretching. The whole regimen takes about two hours every morning.

Apart from pumping iron, Saif is also following a healthy protein-rich diet.

'Agent Vinod' will have Saif doing a lot of action, including hand-to-hand combat. The actor wants a lean and muscular build to be able to look convincing while thrashing the baddies on the big screen.
