Rani Mukherjee disguises as a sardar

Lately, many people have been wondering where is Rani Mukherjee , the ‘queen of hearts’. Well, the chirpy, talented actress has been shooting for Yashraj Films new unnamed venture opposite Shahid Kapur where she is playing the character of a cricket maniac.

There has been speculation regarding her role in this flick which is being directed by Anurag Singh. Now, since the pictures from the sets are out, it is evident that the actress is playing a guy who is disguised as a Sardar. Rani and Shahid both were seen in sporty costumes on the sets.


If production news is to be believed, Rani is portraying a character of a cricket fanatic who can go to any extent just to play the sport. This passion makes her assume the guise of a sardar man, for just being a part of the playing squad.

Reportedly, Shahid plays a cricketer and both the actors are sharing the screen space for the first time.

Rani Mukherjee has given a miss to celluloid for quite some time. The lady, last seen in Yashraj’s Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic , has been staring at a sagging career after a series of flops.

We hope this movie helps her restore back her position in Bollywood.
