Saif-Deepika movie named 'Love Aaj Kal'

The movie, the first home production of Saif, has Deepika Padukone and a Brit beauty paired opposite the chhote nawab. Shot almost to its completion, the movie has been without a title from the start. Some unit members called it ‘Production no. 1’, because it’s Saif’s debut movie as a producer. Some called it ‘Elastic’ for reasons better known to them.

For Imtiaz Ali, the struggle to find an appropriate title is not new. He’s been through it with his past films Socha Na Tha and Jab We Met , whose title was eventually suggested by Shahid Kapur .


According to reports, for Saif’s home production, Imtiaz wanted the name ‘Aaj Aur Kal’ or ‘Aaj Kal’. But Saif wanted a title that had a Hinglish punch like ‘Jab We Met’. So the title Love Aaj Kal has been reportedly zeroed down on. It’s a catchy name that can connect to the audience instantly.

However, Imtiaz is still not so pleased with the title, says a source.
