Shahid Kapur bulks up and slims down

Playing different roles can be taxing on an actor’s body. Shahid, who’s always been fit but never brawny, had to pump up the iron and build a beefcake for his role in Vishal Bharadwaj’s Kaminay . And now that he is moving to his next project in which he plays a singing star, Shahid has to do exactly the opposite.

For this film by Ken Ghosh , Shahid has to shed the physique he chiseled out for Bharadwaj’s flick. To do so, he has roped in fitness expert Abbas Ali.


Abbas has reportedly chalked out a strict diet regimen for Shahid.

Lately, Shahid has been eating sweet potatoes, oats, brown rice, salads, peanut butter and drinking lots of water to regain a slim figure that would suit his character of a singer. The actor has also been doing a lot of running to get rid of the extra muscle mass.

All the hard work and discipline is yielding results as Shahid is learnt to have lost a considerable amount of weight in a short span of time.

Now, that’s what we call dedication.
