Shahid Kapur runs like a horse!

Trust Vishal Bharadwaj to make his actors do the wackiest of things. Saif Ali Khan daubed his teeth yellow to play the paan masala-chewing goon in Omkara . Now, Shahid was made to put on blinkers around his eyes and run among horses on a race course for a scene in ‘Kaminey’.

To top it, Shahid’s topless and muscled body along with his long mane almost becomes as a cinematic metaphor for a horse.


However, to develop that brawn wasn’t a cakewalk for the actor.

Shahid reveals that Bharadwaj let him decide his look for the rough and tough character of Charlie in ‘Kaminey’. The actor aimed for a lean and toned look but did not want to become beefcake.

“I envisioned Charlie as a tough street fighter. He needed to look tough and strong rather than sport a gym toned look,” Shahid told a tabloid.

To get that tough look, Shahid had to work out regularly for eight months under the guidance of trainer Abbas Ali.

The movie has him playing twin brothers – a meek Guddu and a tough Charlie. Priyanka Chopra is the film’s leading lady.
