Shahrukh Khan and Karan Johar going places in US

Bravo! Director-producer Karan Johar has taken his cast and crew inside the studio of a top American news channel, in San Francisco. The team of My Name Is Khan recently shot there for a crucial scene.

In fact, for this shoot, Karan took special permission from Stephanie Coyote who is San Francisco’s Film Commission Director. Reports are that Karan requested the channel officials not to disclose the news about the shoot but unfortunately it spread like fire and many local Indians gathered outside the studio to catch a glimpse of the stars. But they didn’t know that their favourites, Shahrukh Khan and Kajol were not part of the particular sequence which was shot there.


The twitter page of CBS5 also mentioned about the shoot on their page -- “Crew for India’s famed actor, Shah Rukh Khan, is in the newsroom, causing all the staff to titter and gawk.”

Besides shooting the film, Shahrukh Khan is also holidaying with his entire family in the US. He is also co-producing the film. Not only that, director Karan Johar is planning a grand global release of the film and was in talks with many foreign buyers for ‘My Name Is Khan’ at 62nd Cannes Film Festival last month.
