Shahrukh Khan to return to villainy in style?

King Khan as a villain? An actor whose image as a loverboy has been consolidated over the years with blockbusters like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge or Kuch Kuch Hota Hai now might play a cold villain in the third version of Dhoom ! Well, let's not forget that SRK has played anti-hero in a number of films at the start of his career - be it 'Baazigar', 'Anjam' or 'Darr'.

According to reports, the Yashraj camp is going through a tough phase as their last few movies couldn't churn the expected revenue. And buyers are showing less interest in their forthcoming films. The only major hit was Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi which starred Shahrukh.


So apparently, Aditya Chopra wants Shahrukh to play the villain in 'Dhoom 3'. About Dhoom 1 and 2 we know that more than the protagonist Abhishek Bachchan it was the villains John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan who stole the show. So, SRK's return to villainy, and that too in style, is something to look forward to.

Yashraj has kept 'Dhoom 3' in the pipeline for quite some time. But the question was, and still is, who is going to direct the movie as Sanjay Gadhvi , the director of the 'Dhoom' series has left the camp.

Reports say SRK had a brief meeting with Aditya Chopra recently and the star has agreed to do the film. But whether he will have time to do this film, given his busy schedule, is doubtful. Shahrukh has three movies lined up for the year 2010. One is 'Don 2', another is his home production, a sci-fi superhero flick, and then Farah Khan 's Happy New Year . So we can only wait and watch!
