Shotgun's daughter Sonakshi does a flip-flop

The gorgeous daughter of Shatrughan Sinha had initially consented to be Salman Khan ’s heroine in the debut production venture of Arbaaz Khan but later delivered a bombshell with her decision to opt out. Now, she does a flip-flop again. It’s learnt that she’s back in the film.

Sonakshi reportedly first caught Salman’s eye when he spotted her on the ramp at a fashion show. The superstar, known for his zeal to promote new girls in tinsel town, offered Sonakshi a role opposite himself but the girl was indecisive.


Still very much a papa and mama’s gal, Sonakshi had apparently planned a career in fashion designing and Salman’s offer, which was unexpected, had her in two minds.

It’s a known fact in the industry that Shotgun and his wife Poonam have raised Sonakshi very fondly. However, since the veteran is very protective of his family’s dignity, it was believed that he’s not in favour of Sonakshi joining films.

But now, Shotgun has given his go-ahead to Sonakshi “as long as she doesn’t compromise the dignity of the family” and the girl is back in Arbaaz’s production to be directed by Abhinav, Anurag Kashyap’s brother.
