Terror could not stall this film's shoot

That movie was De Dhana Dhan starring Akshay Kumar , Katrina Kaif , Sameera Reddy and Sunil Shetty .

While the terrorists attacked the city on Wednesday night and kept the city under siege for three ensuing days, the cast and crew of ‘De Dhana Dhan’ reported on the film’s sets at Mehboob studios on Thursday morning.


Director Priyadarshan had a meeting with producer Ratan Jain and the film’s leading stars, after which they all decided unanimously that the show must go on. Priyadarshan says he was overwhelmed to see the entire crew of 250 people reporting to work on Thursday morning even as many people in Mumbai stayed indoors as the siege continued.

Though some folks in Bollywood were shocked at how the film’s stars continued shooting when killings were going on in another part of the city, the film’s actors say they decided to continue work and not be cowed down by the terrorists.

The shoot of ‘De Dhana Dhan’ continued uninterrupted until Sunday.
