When SRK stopped short of giving Aamir tit for tat

They often indulge in verbal sparring. Though most of it is in good humour, sometimes the jibes are stretched too far. One of such jokes was when Aamir blogged about having a dog named Shahrukh.

SRK did not reciprocate to Aamir's potshot at that time, because he was held back by his wife.


Speaking to a website, SRK reveals that he had a fitting reply for Aamir's dig. The reply was that he (SRK) wanted to name his dog Aamir, but the canine vehemently refused. SRK thought the joke was funny but was stopped by his wife Gauri Khan who felt that the response would be misconstrued by media and fans.

So SRK held back.

But the superstar made it known at a recent event that he would speak to Aamir about certain things (obviously the dog dig) that he did not like.

SRK is presently promoting his home production Billu Barber despite his shoulder injury.

The movie, starring Irrfan Khan , Lara Dutta , SRK - and cameos by pretty ladies Priyanka Chopra , Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone - is set for Friday release.
