'Yuvvraaj' might get delayed?

The movie is scheduled to hit the theatres on November 21, but might not meet its release deadline because of a crisis that has apparently arisen out of distribution hassles.

According to reports, Eros International was initially set to distribute the film nationwide, but the company decided to sell the rights to another big production house, Shri Ashtavinayak for Rs 30 crore.


But Shri Ashtavinayak, that's presently reeling from some of their recent flops, couldn't reportedly pay the entire money and managed an inadequate amount of Rs 18 crore. Now, Eros is in problem regarding the film's distribution. The situation can snowball and possibly lead to the postponement of the film.

'Yuvvraaj' faced a few hitches during its making as well. First, Salman Khan was believed to be unhappy regarding Shahrukh Khan 's Red Chillies SFX team's attachment with 'Yuvvraaj'. Then it happened that Subhash Ghai was not so pleased with the rough cuts of the film and decided to sign another editor. That's how the editor Deepa Bhatia of Rock On and Taare Zameen Par fame was hired to edit the film.

Starring Salman, Katrina Kaif , Anil Kapoor and Zayed Khan , this big-budget film of Subhash Ghai is one of the most expensive films of the year. Now, it remains to be seen whether 'Yuvvraaj' will overcome this new hurdle and keep its date with the marquee.
