How Gullu dada almost became a wreck

Did you ever wonder where was Gulshan Grover all these days? The man who became famous as Bollywood's 'Bad Man' and improvised on his make-up and looked increasingly sinister in every film had suddenly disappeared?

Well, Gullu dada was recovering from a depression. And in this terrible bout of denials, he refused some very plum roles in big banners.

The reason for the denial symptoms of our Gullu dada is love my friends. Gullu is a married man but that's no obstacle to fall in love. This time his object of affection was the ex-CNN India representative Anita Pratap.

Right from the beginning, Anita was not sure. After a reasonably good length of dating and debating, Anita gave the nod. But the Pratap girl's intelligence and awareness level probably didn't match Gullu's. She already had a broken marriage behind her and wanted to be sure before accepting Gullu's proposal.

After a lot of weighing pros and cons, Anita said 'No'. The departure of the Pratap girl from his life led Gullu to sink into the greatest depths of depression and it is only recently that he has surfaced. One sees him in social dos now and then, probably circulating for want of work and making up for the loss he suffered in love.

In the meanwhile, Anita married a phirang and invited practically all the who's who of the town. Gullu wasn't there of course.
