What makes him highly successful is his penchant to break newer grounds with every film of his released. Unruffled by the commercial success of his films, Venkatesh feels a film’s success shouldn’t be judged by its box-office success.
Obviously he attaches much more importance to his creative gratification. For the same reason, he has stepped out of Telugu film to star in Hindi films. Now Venkatesh is once again crossing language barriers to act in a Tamil film. He has been signed to do the lead role in R B Choudhary’s Supergood Film’s Pappa. Giving company to Venkatesh in Pappa are Soundarya and Anjala Zaveri. If Venkatesh is starring, Pappa must be something special. Pappa is expected to be a visual extravaganza as the film uses plenty of graphics.
Two more Supergood films, which has given hits like Naattammai and Suryavamsam, are on the anvil. While Vinnukkum Mannukkum has Sarathkumar in the in the lead, Malayalam superstar Mammoootty stars in Anandam.
