Mohan Lal's son to make his debut in father's film

Malayalam movie buffs have a special liking for child artistes. Almost all the films Baby Shalini (actress Shalini) starred in were super hits and she enjoyed the status of a superstar in Malayalam filmdom.
Many child artistes from Malayalam films have won national recognition too.
Now, another star-kid is making his debut in films. Pranav, son of superstar Mohan Lal, is acting along with his father in Thambi Kannamthanam's film titled Onnaman. Pranav's role is as important as his father's in the film.
Other casts include Biju Menon, Nassar, Lalu Alex, Nedumudi Venu, Kavya Madhavan, and Jaya Sudha etc. However, the heroine is yet to be finalized.
After a long time, Mohan Lal also sings for this movie.
Earlier another child artiste had caught the fancy of Malayalis. Kalidasan, son of veteran actor Jayaram. Kalidasan won all round appreciation for his performance in Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal. After Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal, the father-son duo is a regular feature in almost all stage shows in Kerala.
It's hoped Pranav will endear himself to Malayalis a la Kalidasan.
