Tamil film actresses Rambha, Meena, Mumtaz and actors Prashanth and Murali have been banned from acting in films by the Film Producers Association.
The ban has been imposed because they reportedly gave interviews to various TV channels violating the ban on giving such interviews by the Film Producers Association, Theatre Owners Association and Actors’ Guild.
Anyone who signs them up in future will attract strict action, warned the producers’ body.
The aggrieved actors and the actresses have, however, denied having violated the ban.
