Nubile Nagma, who has had a lean time in her reel life, is back with a bang in Kollywood – this time as the heroine of super star Mohanlal!
The glam girl, who almost brought about a marital storm over cricket captain Ganguly’s home, has managed to secure this prestigious assignment in a Malayalam film titled Chaturangam.
The film brings together Mohanlal and director K. Madhu, known for churning out crisp crime thrillers, after a long time. The last time they worked together was in Adhipan, which became a blockbuster.
The film has Nagma playing an honest police officer who takes on a slew of scheming politicians. The movie boasts two heroines, the second one being upcoming Navya Nair.
This is the first time Nagma is acting with Mohanlal, who plays a promising political leader who is out to avenge humiliation at the hands of unscrupulous politicians.
The film is expected to infuse new life into the sagging career of Nagma, who incidentally made her debut in a Malayalam film called Sargham.
