A restive Rajnikanth is said to be planning another movie to shrug off the indifferent audience reaction to his super-hyped Baba.
No doubt, Baba is a big money-spinner, having sold out for an astounding Rs 50 crore even before its shooting began!
But even the diehard fans of the Tamil super star are said to be feeling a bit let down by the 'sultan of style' this time around. Collections are said to be dipping all over Tamil Nadu.
Concerned over the diminishing returns of Baba, Rajni has reportedly decided to team up with his favourite director K. S. Ravikumar to churn out a movie that would pep up his fans.
Incidentally, Ravikumar directed the top-grossing Rajni-starrer Padayappa.
The film will, in all probability, have two heroines, Meena and Simran. Rumours are rife that music composer Deva may replace A. R. Rahman, a permanent fixture of Rajni films.
The movie is likely to go on the floors sometime in November and hit the theatres early new year. So goes the grapevine.
