The Murphy’s law seems to have caught up with Malayalam super star Mohanlal. Nothing seems to be going right for the talented hero these days.
The latest buzz is that Mohanlal has moved the court against the Boney Kapoor and Ram Gopal Varma, producer and director of the film ‘Company’ in which he played a South Indian police officer.
The top Malayalam hero’s grouse against them is that they allegedly paid him only Rs 34 lakh out of the promised Rs 50 lakh for ‘Company’. A cheque for Rs 16 lakh, given later, is reported to have bounced.
A livid Mohanlal has filed a case in the Madras High Court, which seeks, among other things, to stop the release of the Ram Gopal Varma ‘Road’.
Meanwhile, Mohanlal is learnt to have walked out of Renjith’s movie Maram Peyyumbol over payment hassles.
The superstar is desperately looking for a hit in the wake of the crash at the Box Office of his much-trumpeted Shaji Kailas-directed Thandavam.
