After a prolonged hibernation, top Tamil film actress Simran will once again figure in a Malayalam film.
Simran, who is in the limelight these days for her much-talked-about affair with superstar Kamal Hasan, has been signed up to play the heroine in a yet-to-be-titled film featuring Jayaram in the male lead.
Popular director Sibi Malayil will wield the megaphone for the movie, which will also have Jayaram's son Kalidasan in a cameo role.
This is Simran's second 'sojourn' in Malayalam film world. Years ago, she had acted with megastar Mammootty in a film titled Indraprastham.
