South Indian actress Soundarya is back in Malayalam cinema with director Kamal’s next movie which is based on an unusual love story set in the grapevines of Karnataka-Kerala border.
The film titled Munthiripookalude Adhithi will have Soundarya in the author-backed role of Mythili, a hardworking self-made woman who owns acres of grapevine. Into her life comes a young doctor and a beautiful relationship develops between them.
Actor Pritviraj plays the role of the doctor. Other actors in the film are Manoj.K.Jayan, Jishnu, Jagathy Sreekumar and Vigeesh.
Speaking about Munthiripookalude Adhithi, Kamal says: "There is love in the film but it will not be a run-of-the-mill love story. The story is set in the grapevines and the locations play an important role in the film."
This film marks Soundarya’s return to Malayalam cinema after Kilichundan Mambazham.
