Sreekumaran An early end to the agony of top Malayalam actress Meera Jasmine is in sight, with powerful mediators entering the scene to ensure a happy denouement to the ongoing sorry episode. Meera, whose sterling performance in TV Chandran's "Paadam Onnu Oru Vilapam" fetched her the national award for best actress, had filed a case of cheating and fraud against her sisters. In the complaint, Meera had alleged that the sisters and her parents had withdrawn huge amounts of money from her account without her consent. 
The grapevine has it that church leaders are trying to effect a patch-up between Meera and her parents and sisters. Meera, who is busy with the dubbing work of film "Perumazhakkalm" in Thiruvananthapuram, is scheduled to leave for Ernakulam to meet the mediators. The buzz is that Meera's father has handed over the documents relating to her property to her lawyer, as part of the compromise formula. Once it is confirmed, Jasmine will, in a reciprocatory gesture, withdraw the case against her sisters, Jenni Joseph and Jebi Joseph, it is learnt. Meanwhile, the police have assured the court that Meera's sisters will not be arrested before October 25, when their plea for anticipatory bail comes up for hearing. It seems like happy days are close by for Meera, who has gone through a traumatic experience at a time when she should be savoring her moment of glory.
