Few newcomers have the guts to spurn offers to act against the likes of Mammootty and Jayaram . That's exactly what nimble Nayanthara has done!
The nippy actress has said no to co-star Mammootty in the Malayalam movie Thommante Makkal. Similarly, she has rejected an offer to play the female lead against Jayaram in Cibi Malayil-directed Amritham.
But, why did the promising actress turn her back on such prestigious offers? Well, the gutsy gal wants to concentrate on the Tamil film Chandramukhi in which she rubs shoulders with none other than the reigning Tamil superstar Rajnikanth !
For all that, Nayanthara made a memorable debut in Malayalam film Manassinnakkare in which her hero was Jayaram. Fabulous offers followed. She went on to play the heroine of Mohanlal in Vismayathumbathu. Nayanthara again impressed as the sister of the Megastar in Natturajavu .
Despite such a dream debut in Malayalam filmdom, Nayanthara has opted to focus on Tamil movies. One of the reasons why she prefers Tamil films could be the fatter pay packet Kollywood offers!
Well, it seems Mollywood's loss is the gain of Kollywood! Bravo, Nayanthara!
