She may have become an ‘Anniyan’ (stranger) as far as Tamil films are concerned.
But saucy Sada is on the way to becoming a name to reckon with in neighbouring Kannada cinema.
The Anniyan heroine burst on Kannada film world with a film called ‘Monolisa’. The flick hit the bull’s eye, and Sada’s fortunes soared.
The success of Monolisa saw producers sitting up and taking notice of Sada. The result: another film in the beautiful belle’s kitty.
The film, titled ‘Mohini’ is a suspense thriller and Sada has a meaty role in it, according to the grapevine.
Alongside, Sada is testing the waters in Malayalam cinema as well.
Nayantara opted out of the Joshi-directed ‘Janmam’ which has Suresh Gopi in the male lead.
Sada saw the opportunity and grabbed it with alacrity. Her role in the film may not be great shakes. But it has given her a chance to have a foothold in Mollywood.
