Genelia D'Souza reviving her career again

Glamorous Genelia D'Souza started her career by working in Shankar 's ‘Boys’ and later in a Hindi film that disappeared without a trace.

But Genelia is reviving her career again. Her Kannada film ‘Sathya In Love’ will complete the fifty-day run very soon. Her recent Tamil film ‘Santhosh Subramaniam’ is also doing decent business at the box office, which is largely being credited to Genelia's rocking performance.

‘Santhosh Subramaniam’ was the remake of Genelia's Telugu film ‘Bommarillu’ directed by Bhaskar, which became a blockbuster hit two years ago.

Genelia's luck took a U-turn with ‘Bommarillu’ and she went on to become one of the top actresses in Tollywood and Kollywood.

Riding on this success, the latest gossip doing the rounds is that, Genelia has also been signed to do the Hindi version of ‘Bommarillu’ which will be produced by Boney Kapoor .

The film will be directed by Anees Bazmee and Harman Baweja will be the hero of this film.

Genelia will be the leading lady in the Hindi remake version of ‘Bommarillu’. "I played the role of Hasini in ‘Bommarillu’ which made a sea change in my career . I understood the importance of good performance only after I had acted in the role of Hasini. But I am glad that I was the first choice for the Tamil version of this film and I am being sought for the Hindi version. I could not have asked for better " said the chirpy lady.

Her first Hindi film was opposite Ritesh Deshmukh titled ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’ – a remake of the Telugu hit ‘Nuvve Kaavaali’ was a damp squib at the box office.

Genelia later starred opposite Ritesh in Masti and now will soon be seen in Aamir Khan ’s Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na .
