First came the news that Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan is doing a Kannada film after a gap of 18 years. Close on its heels followed the tiding that Bollywood Badshah Amitabh Bachchan will act in a Kannada flick. 
The grapevine is also abuzz that the mighty Rajnikant himself may get into the Kannada act. So, the latest to hop on to the Kannada bandwagon is Navya Nair of ‘Nandanam’ fame. Nimble-footed Navya will play the heroine in the Kannada remake of Tamil film ‘Autograph’. She will do the role Gopika did in the Tamil version. It is not as if she is not busy in Kollywood either. Navya has been snapped up by Thankar Bachan for the film entitled "Chidambarathil Appusami". In the movie Natty Navya will play the mother of two kids. Navya is not the only one from Mollywood and Kollywood to be bitten by the Kannada movie bug. Before her, actresses like Kaveri, Abhirami and Meera Jasmine have dabbled in Kannada films and courted success. So, it is Navya's turn to make it big in Kannada film world. Good luck, Ms Nair!
