Sreekumaran Even as Mammootty continues to enjoy the Midas Touch, not everything is hunky dory with Mohanlal , his reel rival. Well, the buzz from Mollywood is that Mohanlal's latest film Udayaon is facing some problems and may be delayed. The Bhadran-directed film in which Mohanlal is doing a double role, was scheduled for a July first week release. But as ill luck would have it, the release will be delayed by a few weeks, it is learnt. The reason is director Bhadran is yet to complete the full work on Udayaon. The grapevine has it that the film is unlikely to be released before August 15, if all goes well, that is. This has put Mohanlal in a ticklish situation. Because the delay on Udayaon would mean a further delay in the shooting for his Joshi-directed Naran for which Mohanlal was planning an Onam release. But the whole thing has been thrown out of gear because of the problems with Udayaon. Bhadran is known to take a lot of time over his films. And the megastar is said to be unhappy about it. Unlike Mammootty, who has had six hits in a row, Mohanlal has had only one mega hit during the last two years: Udayananu Tharam . The talented actor is pinning great hopes on Udayaon. But then, things have not worked out his way. Best of luck, Mohanlal!
