But gorgeous-looking Malayalam actress Gopika is firming up her foothold on home turf. The hot news from Mollywood is that Gops has snapped up a prestigious offer to act with Malayalam megastar Mohanlal . 
The film titled ‘Kirtichakra’ will be directed by Major Ravi. Of course, it is a film on the life of a soldier against the backdrop of Kargil conflict. Besides, Gopika is doing another film with Dileep called ‘Pachakuthira’. The last film the duo did was ‘Chahnthupottu’, which was a hit. However, things are not all that good for Gops in Kollywood. She has only one film called ‘Ashokamitran’ starring Rajnikant 's son-in-law Danush in her kitty. Her film with Srikant, ‘Kana Kandein’ did reasonably well, but it did not benefit Gopika much. Fear of uncertainty is said to have forced Gopika to be back on home ground. And from the look of things, she seems to have taken the correct decision.
