She proved her acting skill in her first film in Mollywood itself titled ‘Nandanam’. But Navya is also imbued with a shrewd business sense. How come? You might ask. Well, here is the answer. 
Navya and Tamil actor Cheran are acting in a film titled ‘Aadum Koothu’, which is being directed by TV Chandran. The producer of the film walked out, according to the grapevine, miffed over the long delay in the making of it. The question arose : who will produce the film ? Well, the smart actress joined hands with Cheran and cameraman Madhu Ambat to form a production house named "Lights and Shadow", which will produce ‘Aadum Koothu’.
