Is Tamil actress Meena staging a comeback to films? She is, says news emanating from Kollywood.
Meena had quietly disappeared from both Tamil and Malayalam film scene amid speculation that she would be getting married.
Well, nothing of the sort has happened. The maiden with beautiful eyes, for a change, did a game show on Jaya TV, which became immensely popular.
Then came an offer to act in a Tamil serial - something Meena had been resisting for long.
But ultimately, she gave in to persuasion and agreed to do a serial titled ‘Lakshmi’. The serial has turned out to be a big hit with family audience across Tamil Nadu.
Busy as she is with the serial, Meena has found time to act in a film too - that too in neighbouring Mollywood.
The grapevine has it that the yet-to-be-titled movie will have Malayalam megastar Mammootty in the male lead.
Now, can you hope for a better comeback than this?
