She did well in Tamil cinema. She made a brief foray into the Telugu film world as well.
But, now that she is losing out on both fronts, gorgeous Gopika is back on her home-ground : Malayalam cinema.
And it has been a good comeback of sorts for Gops, in a manner of speaking. She figures in a movie titled ‘Don’, which has Dilip in the male lead.
Then there is the prestigious film titled ‘Pothen Vava’, with megastar Mammootty as the hero.
In Tollywood, her latest flick, ‘Veedhi’ received only lukewarm reception. Obviously, Gops was finding it difficult to compete with the likes of Trisha and Nayantara .
In Kollywood, the Malayalai girl is looking forward to her upcoming movie, ‘Emttan Mohan’, which has Bharat playing the hero. The success of ‘Emttan Mohan’ is crucial for Gopika’s survival in Kollywood.
Well, in any case, bright-eyed Gopika can always fall back upon Malayalam cinema if the going is tough in the neighbourhood.
