Sreekumaran Director Major Ravi's maiden effort, ‘Keerthichakra’ featuring Malayalam megastar Mohanlal was a spectacular success. The film is running to packed houses across Kerala. Well, Ravi has intention of resting on his laurels. The director is already on to his next venture. 
And this time around, he has turned to the other megastar of Mollywood, Mammootty . Yes, the news is that Mammootty will be the hero in Major Ravi's next film - again with an army backdrop. Ravi is himself writing the script of the film, which is expected to be Mammootty's Vishu release in 2007. Meanwhile, the grapevine is abuzz that Ravi is considering filming a ‘Keerthichakra –2’ too, in 2007. Soldier on, Major!
