Noted Malayalam actress Navya Nair is on cloud nine! The reason for her being in the seventh heaven: comely Navya has bagged the best actress award at an International Film Festival held in Russia. Ms Nair won the award for her role as a TV journalist in a Malayalam film, titled ‘Saira’. 
The latest award has come in the wake of the national acclaim her film, ‘Kanne Madanguka’, won last year. Navya, who shot to limelight with a memorable debut in the Ranjit-directed Malayalam movie, ‘Nandanam’, is equally busy in the neighbouring Kollywood. Two of her films in the making in Tamil are the TV Chandran-directed ‘Aadum Koothu’ and ‘Mayakkannadi’ in which she is paired with Cheran. Congratulations, Navya!
