But that has not prevented Asin from accepting an offer from her home turf. Yes, that is exactly the latest news from Mollywood. The agreeable actress has been signed up for a role in a Malayalam film. 
The film, titled ‘Karthikathirunanaal Karthikeyan’ has megastar Mohanlal in the male lead. The film also features the glam gal of Tamil cinema, Namitha in a key role, says the grapevine. Incidentally, Asin began her debut in the Sathiyan Abnthikkad-directed Malayalam movie, ‘Narendran Magan Jayakanthan Vaka’. However, she migrated to Telugu film world and Kollywood, as her debut Malayalam flick did not do well at the box office. She then firmed up her grip on both Tollywood and Tamil cinema, where she is one of the top heroines. Let us hope Asin's comeback film in Malayalam will not meet the fate that greeted ‘Narendra Magan Jayakanthan Vaka’.
