 Meera Jasmine back in Mollywood

She had done the vanishing act as it were from Malayalam movies for quite a while.
If the fans were wondering what happened, they can rest assured. Their favourite heroine, Meera Jasmine is back in Malayalam movies – with a bang.
Meera's last Malayalam movie was in the illustrious company of megastar Mohanlal : the Sathyan Anthikkad-directed Rasathanthram, which became a hit.
But, surprisingly, Meera did not get many offers on home turf in the wake of the Rasathanthram success.
Naturally, she got busy in the neighbourhood – both Kollywood as well as Telugu cinema.
That is a thing of the past. Now, Meera is acting in a film, to be directed by her mentor, Lohitadas.
The film, titled ‘Chembattu’, will also feature veteran actress Sarada and Urvashi.
It could be another award-winning film for Meera, who has a slew of fine performances in her kitty.
