It is a dream come true for talented Malayalam heroine Navya Nair , who made a memorable debut in ‘Nandanam’.
Navya, the grapevine buzzes, has been signed up for doing a film opposite none other than megastar Mammootty .
The film, to be directed by Padmakumar, will start shooting soon, according to the reports from Mollywood.
Right now, Navya is busy in neighbouring Tamil cinema. Her film, about to be released, is ‘Mayakkannadi’ with Cheran in the male lead.
She also earned critical acclaim when her other film, ‘Aadum Koothu’, directed by TV Chandran, was screened at the International film festival, and won high appreciation.
Now, the film with Mammookka is an icing on the cake, as it were and the best New Year gift that could have come her way.
No, wonder, Navya, who has scrupulously avoided doing glamorous roles, is jubilant.
