That is the slice of luck which pretty Padmapriya has managed to have. Priya landed a prestigious assignment when she was chosen as Mohanlal 's heroine in Adoor Gopalakrishnan's forthcoming film. 
Close on the heels came another dream project: this time a role against the other megastar of Malayalam cinema Mammootty ! The film, titled ‘Pazhassiraja’, is being directed by Hariharan. Script is being penned by renowned Malayalam writer M T Vasudevan Nair. Her latest film, ‘Karuthapakshikal’ in the company of Mammootty, is being rated as the best film to come out in Malayalam of late. With such a dream run, it can be safely said that Padmapriya is well and truly making waves in Malayalam cinema of late. That should give a complex to the current Number one heroine of Mollywood, Kavya Madhavan . Kavya, better pull up your socks; Pads is fast catching up! Well done, Paddy!
