Yes, Tamil actress Meena 's bonds with Mollywood are firming up by the day, if the industry reports are anything to go by.
The doe-eyed beauty got a chance to act against the reigning megastar of Malayalam cinema, Mammootty in ‘Karuthapakshigal’. The film has won critical acclaim, and Meena's role was highly appreciated.
Now comes the news that Meena is playing the mother - to one of the younger heroines of Mollywood, Gopika .
The film, being directed by Sunder Das, has Meena enacting a double role. It is really daring on her part to accept the role to play screen mother.
According to the grapevine, Meena, who once starred against the likes of Rajnikant and Kamal Haasan , is also busy doing a few Kannada films.
