Sreekumaran If heroines from Kerala are riding high in Tamil cinema, at least one actress from Tamil Nadu is dominating the show in Malayalam film world. The heroine who is fast on the way to becoming the number one heroine in Malayalam films, is none other than pretty Padmapriya . 
With five films in her kitty, Pads is the most happening heroine in Mollywood right now. The comely actress is doing a film with megastar Mammootty titled ‘Pazhassiraja’, directed by Hariharan. Padma is doing another film ‘Ali Bhai’, directed by Shaji Kailas. Mohanlal is her hero in the film. Then there is the IV Sasi-directed movie, ‘Kala Bazaar’ and ‘Suhurthu’, directed by Venu Nagavally. Two other Padmapriya films in the pipeline are ‘Veeralippattu’ with Prithviraj and ‘Paradesi’ with Mohanlal in the lead role. It is not as if Padma is out of work in Kollywood. She is featured along with Prithviraj in a film titled ‘Satham Podhathey’. In other words, Padmapriya is prettily perched in Mollywood!
